Isang 47-anyos na overseas Filipino worker (OFW) ang nasawi sa Kuwait dahil umano sa pagmamalupit ng amo, ayon sa Department of Labor and Employment nitong Huwebes.

Kinilala ang biktima na si Constancia Lago Dayag, tubong-Agadanan, Isabela.

"Initial reports reaching my office indicate that Ms. Dayag was brought to Al Sabah Hospital the other night but was declared dead on arrival," ayon sa pahayag ni Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III.

"Aside from apparent violation of the agreement on the protection of OFWs between our government and Kuwait, there appears to have been a breach of the employment contract by the foreign employer," sabi ng kalihim.
