"In the dark somebody would tell him ghost stories, creature stories. And it would be the elders who would be telling you stories that they have heard since they were kids," sabi ni direk Ronnie.

"It was off course momentous because I have stayed in that company for 20 years, you don't just leave that behind. But at the same time I feel that I needed a growth spurt that I could not do by staying. So given the opportunity that Netflix has, what I felt like, this was the right thing to do," sabi niya.

"I feel like my journey specifically now at this age that I am is to kind of tell the stories that fascinate me about, the lore, the things that you grew up with."--Jamil Santos/FRJ, GMA News
