Inilabas na ng Pentagon ang tatlong "unclassified videos" na makikita ang tila unidentified flying object (UFO) na nakunan ng US Navy pilots.
Sa Youtube video ng Reuters, sinabing ilang taon nang kumakalat sa internet ang naturang mga video na madidinig ang pagkamangha ng mga taong nag-uusa sa video.
Sa inilabas ng US Department of Defense, sinabing nagpasya ang Pentagon na ilabas na ang footage para, “to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real or whether or not there is more to the videos."
“After a thorough review, the department has determined that the authorized release of these unclassified videos does not reveal any sensitive capabilities or systems, and does not impinge on any subsequent investigations of military air space incursions by unidentified aerial phenomena,” dagdag nito.
Ayon sa DOD, kuha ang naturang mga video noong Nobyembre 2004 at Enero 2015.
Sabi pa sa pahayag, "The aerial phenomena observed in the videos remain characterized as 'unidentified.'"--Reuters/FRJ, GMA News
