iOS photography workshop by Rick Rocamora on April 21

US-based documentary photographer Rick Rocamora is holding a workshop on iOS Photography on Saturday, April 21 at AShop Eastwood at 5:30 p.m.  

Rocamora, whose work has often been likened to that of Walker Evans and Dorothy Lange, will teach basic photography using iOS devices. 

 

A large part of his work has been shot in the Philippines, where he discovered 18-year-old Rosali Mosende while working on his project “This Is Our Home,” about people who struggle for a living but don’t earn enough to have a roof over their heads.

 

GMA News Online is publishing a retrospective slide show of his work to mark his 25th year in documentary photography.

 

The workshop is open to all those with iPhone 4/4s, iPad 2, and the new iPad.
