PUP Tech Fest 2013 on February 21

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines Technology Festival 2013 will be held on February 21 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Cinema 5, SM City-Sta. Mesa, Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard corner Gregorio Araneta Avenue, Quezon City.

 

An initiative of the PUP Information and Communications Technology Center, the PUP Tech Fest 2013 is a national event that focuses on the role of Information and Communications Technology in improving human processes and systems. It carries the theme “Conquering the Present and Future ICT Challenges.”

 

The event features the following speakers and topics: Janette Toral of DigitalFilipino.com (I Am a Digital Entrepreneur-Our Time Is Now); Lope Doromal Jr. of IBM Philippines Inc. (Smarter Planet); Ronald L. Ramos of Smart Telecomunications Inc. (Mobile Devices as a Tool for Instructional Material Development); Anna Bernice D. Pineda of PLDT Innolab (The Future of Telecommunications); Cesar Antonio C. Cuaresma of Microsoft (Windows 8 and Windows Phone); and Atty. Melencio S. Sta. Ana of TV5 (Plagiarism in ICT and the Intellectual Property Law).
