Ogilvy was recognized with three Merit Anvils at the 48th Anvil Awards, held on March 6 at the Makati Shangri-La. Ogilvy Public Relations won for “Unilab Ideas Positive: Transforming Communities with the Filipino Youth,” a nationwide student competition and social marketing boot camp that helps Filipino youth jumpstart community health and wellness programs; and for issues management project “KFC Philippines’ Cheese Top Burger: Turning an International Social Media Issue into a Business Opportunity.” Ogilvy & Mather Philippines also won for “Ten Moves: Mobilizing a Nation to Take Action for Education.” (The Entire Nation Moves or TEN Moves is a social mobilization campaign to build 10,000 classrooms around the Philippines.) This year’s Anvil Awards competition, conducted annually by the Public Relations Society of the Philippines, received nearly 400 entries, the most number of entries in its history.
