Food & Drinks Asia 2018

Food & Drinks Asia 2018 (FD 2018), the International Expo on specialty food, delicatessen, confectionery, beverages, beers, wines and spirits; with its incorporating events, Food Franchising, Grocery Asia, Coffee & Tea Asia, and Natural Health & Organic Asia 2018; running for more than two decades now, twenty-two (22) years to date, continue to provide food entrepreneurs a diversified showcase of food and beverage products for their options to venture into: for distribution, franchising, repackaging, even for local production and food service ventures.

This year, Food & Drinks Asia cooperates with significant associations related to and complementing with the food and beverage industry. The Chamber of Herbal Industries of the Philippines, Inc. (CHIPI) organized a Group participation having their members showcase their products and services under the banner of Natural Health & Organic Asia 2018. The Group will also hold a seminar entitled “Discovering the Philippine Natural Health Product Industry” which will definitely enlighten entrepreneurs who has interests to venture in to this field of the industry. The Food Caterer’s Association of the Philippines (FCAP) holds their General Assembly on the event’s first day, giving opportunities to some FD 2018 exhibitors to present their products to FCAP members and gather potential clients.

FD 2018 also gives focus on food and beverage skills specialization, as we present:

• “The Annual Chefs’ Showdown: A Culinary Cook-off” an extensive culinary demonstration of professional chefs who are members of the HOTEL & RESTAURANTS CHEFS’ ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES (HRCAP), sharing tips and tricks of their trade.  September 6, 2018 (Thursday); and
• FLAIR & COCKTAILS Preliminaries – A VIBRANT and exciting competition for flair and bar tending that oozes with zest and knacks in bar and flair techniques, September 7, 2018 (Friday);
• FOOD & DRINKS ASIA Cooking Challenge 2018, a friendly competition of aspiring chefs from various Culinary schools and training centers facing head-on to compete with their original gastronomic creations and win the coveted title as “Champions” for their team - September 8, 2018 (Saturday).
• Product demos and seminars on-stage, and in the seminar rooms are also being presented for free. Food & Drinks Asia offers a full line-up of product demos and seminars which provides you with the necessary skills and knowledge one can use in a food venture; hands-on experience provides you with the practical discernment to identify opportunities; you may also find solutions in situations that one may encounter in launching a business.

To date, Food & Drinks Asia 2018 (September 6-9, 2018) happening at the World Trade Center Manila, is a much-awaited food event with all the exciting product displays, exhibit showcases, special activities and knowledge enrichment one can gain which will be a big boost to existing and potential food entrepreneurs.
