Nearly a week after taking his oath, new Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board chairman Winston Ginez is now accepting complaints against abusive public utility vehicle drivers via Twitter. The Department of Transportation and Communications said Ginez will be using the handle @LTFRB_Chairman to receive complaints. "Tweet your complaints against abusive and reckless drivers (or) operators of buses, taxis, UVs and jeepneys, trucks for hire, to @LTFRB_Chairman," it said. But it said Twitter users should "include the date, time of incident, plate number, and, if possible, pic of the PUV, so we can act on your complaint." President Benigno Aquino III had appointed Ginez as LTFRB chairman to replace Jaime Jabob, who resigned from his post last March. Ginez is a graduate of the San Beda College of Law and is a certified public accountant (CPA). He was also among the lawyers who "volunteered" to be part of the prosecution team in last year's impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona. — LBG, GMA News
