Why Davao security guard recorded Brian McKnight cover that went viral

A Filipino who works as a security guard in on of the malls in Davao City impressed netizens after displaying his rendition of “Back At One” online.

 

 

 

In a report on "24 Oras" on Wednesday, Garry Japeth Flores said he uploaded the video on Facebook and was surprised that it went viral.

 

Flores said that he only recorded the video during an afternoon at work to combat his sleepiness.

 

The 28-year-old added that he has been joining singing competitions in their barangay since he was seven and was banned there after repeatedly becoming the champion.

 

He said he had to visit other barangays to join their singing competitions where he earns a little extra that he uses for the needs of their family. — Andrei Medina/JST, GMA News
