Kris Aquino backs Terrence Romeo on Gilas brawl

Kris Aquino is becoming a fan of Gilas Pilipinas stalwart Terrence Romeo.

The popular host was among the commenters expressing support for Romeo, who took to Instagram to explain his role in the national team's brawl against Australia on Monday.

"Hindi kami proud na nakipag-away kami pero proud kami dahil nag-tulungan kami at hindi namin iniwan ang isa't isa," Romeo said in his post.

"Kaya mas pipiliin ko na na ma-bash ng kahit na sino tao matulungan ko lang at wag iwan ang mga kasamahan ko."

Kris left a series of comments on Terrence's post.

"Gusto kitang kaibiganin #fan" she said in one comment.

"Ganyan ang pananaw ko sa buhay - pag pamilya o kaibigan, lalong lalo na sa gipitan, walang iwanan. You've been raised well by your parents - nag SORRY ka pero pinaintindi mo ng klaro ang paninindigan mo."

In his reply, Terrence said he is humbled by Kris's comments.

Gilas was involved in an ugly melee that resulted in nine ejections from the Philippines and four from Australia. FIBA has already opened up disciplinary proceedings against both squads.
