Six months after the photo was taken, and Catriona Gray proves she is one of them queens.

Back in May, when she wasn't yet a Miss Universe,  Catriona Gray posed alongside previous queens Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Iris Mittenaere (2016), Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters (2017) months before her victory.

Shortly after Catriona became Miss Universe, marketing company FrontRow posted the throwback photo of the four beauty queens on their Instagram account, taken during the GRIT + GLAM event.

Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters passed on the Mikimoto crown to Catriona at the coronation event in Bangkok, Thailand on Monday.

Catriona stole the show during the evening gown and swimsuit competition, she also had her answer in the Q&A portion as another one of her weapons to winning the title.

Catriona is Philippines' fourth beauty queen to be crowned as Miss Universe after Pia Wurtzbach (2015), Gloria Diaz (1969) and Margarita Moran (1973). — LA, GMA News
