'Sampaguita Girl' catches attention of some devotees during Traslacion 2019

As millions of devotees flock to the Quiapo Church to wait for the return of the Black Nazarene on Wednesday evening, a girl selling Sampaguita garlands also caught their attention.

Some devotees also swarmed around Veronica Rodillas, whose picture went viral on social media recently.

The devotees would approach Rodillas, buy a garland of sampaguita and ask if they can take a picture with her.

The photo of Rodillas went viral on social media after netizens gushed over her good looks and has since been referred to as 'Sampaguita girl.'
