Mike Enriquez was the top trending topic on Twitter the day after the midterm elections, as several clips of the Kapuso anchor went viral on the social media platform.

Netizens hailed the Imbestigador ng Bayan for expressing what was on everyone’s minds: What will the candidates who won in the polls going to do to better the plight of the country?

“Gusto ko silang singilin. Ano’ng maasahan namin sa inyo ngayon?” he said at one point of the Eleksyon 2019 special coverage on Tuesday morning.
