Frankie Pangilinan has volunteered to sponsor bail for a protester from Sitio San Roque detained by Quezon City police.
The daughter of Senator Francis Pangilinan and Megastar Sharon Cuneta made her offer in response to a tweet by Bayan Secretary-General Renato Reyes, who said the 21 San Roque residents are facing multiple charges requiring bail of P15,000 each.

Quezon City police arrested the protesters last Wednesday after they went to EDSA to demand food aid. Quezon City mayor Joy Belmonte has appealed for their release, but QCPD has filed charges against them.
On Wednesday, President Rodrigo Duterte accused leftist groups of being involved in the protests, before ordering police to shoot troublemakers.
On Thursday, some San Roque residents finally got long-awaited food aid amid the enhanced community quarantine, with one person saying she believed they were able to get attention because of their protest. --JST, GMA News
