2019 Bar exam topnotcher slept on UST Law shirt the night before results came out
A topnotcher on the 2019 Bar exams revealed that he actually wore his University of Santo Tomas Law shirt to bed the night before results came out.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Kenneth Manuel shared that he was very anxious about the results and even set an alarm at 1 pm just so the Bar results would be the first thing he would see.
He was ranked no. 6.
"Heightened agad BP ni bakla pagkagising, check agad ng tablet. Ni-refresh ko 'yung table and OMG," he wrote. "Btw natulog ako with my UST Law shirt on hahahaha."

Traditionally displayed on a large screen at the Supreme Court's grounds in Manila, the bar exam results were posted online this year amid the threat of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Aside from sleeping at 4 am just so he wouldn't wait up for the results, Manuel said that he also uninstalled all his social media apps on his gadget except for his email.
"I put my phone on airplane mode and I asked someone to email me my result para i-check ko sa tablet," he said.
Manuel, who studied in UST-Manila and got a score of 88.1730 percent in the bar exams, could not believe he was among the topnotchers.

"Hindi ako umasang magtatop ng Bar," he said. "Kaya hindi ako nagrereply sa mga good luck niyo kasi alam ko madidisappoint kayo. 'Sure topnotcher yan' and I’m like 'luh kung alam mo lang.' I should have believed you guys! Thank you!!!"
Hindi ako umasang magtatop ng Bar. Ganito isang sched ko during my working Bar review days. Kaya hindi ako nagrereply sa mga good luck niyo kasi alam ko madidisappoint kayo. “Sure topnotcher yan” and I’m like “luh kung alam mo lang”. I should have believed you guys!
