NCT Dream's Chenle fanboys over Stephen Curry, K-pop fans help him get noticed by his idol

Stephen Curry is trending on Twitter after K-pop group NCT replied to one of his tweets and called him the GOAT.

One of the group's members, Chenle, is apparently a huge fan of the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player.

In a video on the group's YouTube channel, fellow members Johnny and Marky interviewed him about his admiration for the Golden State Warriors point guard.

"I fell in love with him right away," Chenle said, sharing that he first saw Steph in a game in 2016—the year he became the first unanimous MVP in NBA history.

Johnny and Marky then proceeded to teach Chenle acronyms used in internet slang so he could tweet his idol.

And of course, they could not forget about GOAT—Greatest Of All Time.

Chenle composed a tweet for Steph, typing three goat emojis and a fist bump, as well as his actual message: "btw hmu asap ty."

He was never actually shown to send it, and according to the video, learning about acronyms is only Step 1 of the process of tweeting your favorite basketball player.

Did Chenle tweet Steph? Will Steph respond? K-pop fans can only wait and help Chenle get noticed by his idol. —MGP, GMA News
