Groom goes viral after messing up wedding vows

Instead of shedding tears, guests present at this couple’s wedding were treated to a laugh after the groom messed up his vows.

In an episode of “IRL,” Ryan Llagas’ video was shown where he’s seen seriously saying his promises and then being taken aback after realizing his mistake.

“Mae, sa harap ng Diyos at ng kaniyang sambayanan, tinitipan kita maging aking bahay. Ay, maging aking maybahay,” he said.

With the epic fail, even the presiding priest couldn’t help but laugh and let out a joke.

“Take two, ha. Palibhasa kasi architect ka. Walang ibang nasa isip kung hindi bahay. Bahay lagi, eh. Sige, ulit,” he was seen telling Ryan.

True to what the priest assumed, Ryan admitted to having a pending deliverable that week.

“Mayroon akong rush [job] so talagang noong morning na iyon, lutang moment,” he said.

The video that the bride Shiela Mae Llagas shared on Facebook reached a million views.

“Yung ikakasal na kayo pero yung isip ng asawa mo nasa trabaho pa yata,” she wrote in the caption.

Shiela and Ryan met in 2010 and finally tied the knot on Valentine’s Day this year, after moving it thrice because of the pandemic.

Although he made a mistake on his vows, Ryan said he promises to give Shiela his all.

“I’ll give everything kasi you are my everything na. Hindi lang ikaw iyong part ng mundo ko pero ikaw iyong mundo ko today,” he told Shiela.

To which, Shiela answered: “Mas lalawakan ko pa iyong pang-unawa sa [iyo], pag-intindi, tapos lagi akong nandito, aalagaan kayo. Love you.” — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
