Here’s how you can talk to your tita or tito about fake news, according to TikTok star Ychan Laurenz
Do you have a relative who has been sharing fake news? How do you deal with them?
In a GMA #eLeksyonSerye video for Eleksyon 2022, TikTok star Ychan Laurenz reminded viewers that “communication is key” and it could be done without fighting or arguing.
Ychan advised the public to be vigilant about information, even if it came from people we knew.
Apart from giving warnings about the dangerous effects of fake news, Ychan said it was also important to know where to get accurate and reliable information, such as official social media accounts of news organizations.
“May blue check. ’Yon yung official pages nila.
