Grade 1 student from Bohol showcases flawless moves as he leads morning exercise

A Grade 1 student from Bohol went viral for his flawless moves as he led their class’ morning exercise.

According to Joseph Morong on “24 Oras” Wednesday, six-year-old Gian Carlo’s video has reached over half a million views as of reporting.

Zhane Agan Tejano, his mom, said Gian Carlo was chosen by his teacher after noticing his dance skills.

“Iyong una, sumayaw sila ng ‘Baby Shark.’ Iyon unang exercise nila tapos sabi ng teacher nila na siya na raw po yung mag-lead. Pinapili po siya kung anong gusto niyang sayaw,” she said.

Though Gian Carlo also just met his classmates in person, he sure didn’t let that get in the way.

Zhane said Gian Carlo started dancing at four years old. He often watched dance videos on YouTube.

“Noong pandemic po, lagi po iyan nanonood ng videos. ’Pag nagustuhan niya iyong sayaw, ginagaya po niya. Mga tatlong beses lang niya tiningnan, kuha na niya yung steps,” she said.

She added that Gian Carlo had her full support should he decide to pursue dancing as a career. – RC, GMA News
