A post shared by Playboy (@playboy) on

Geena is the first  Asian Pacific Islander playmate of the magazine. She is the second openly transgender playmate of Playboy; French model Ines Rau was the first.

Geena has been making waves in the international LGBTQIA+ community as a transgender advocate. In 2014, she gave a TED talk where she shared her journey into womanhood.

According to her profile on TED, she was born in Manila and she moved to New York in 2005 when she was 17 to pursue a modeling career.
