The National Parks Development Committee (NPDC) on Saturday, October 31, 2020 opened the mid-section of Rizal Park, popularly known as Luneta, in Manila to give away to a different kind of Halloween event dubbed "Zombie Run."

Dressed in creepy attires, the participating zombies walked around the portion the park where the run was supposed to take place, and some went beyond their assigned role and took zombie selfie.

After over seven months since March 17 when Metro Manila was placed under strictest lockdown for weeks due to the COVID-19 threat, Luneta was opened again to the public from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday.
