Shamcey Supsup dedicates message for Rabiya Mateo a week before the Miss Universe coronation

Shamcey Supsup dedicated a message for Rabiya Mateo a week before she competes at the Miss Universe 2020 competition.

On Instagram, the Miss Universe Philippines 2011, who is now the director of the Miss Universe Philippines organization, shared glam shots of herself with Rabiya and their resemblance couldn't be any more obvious.

"The journey to the Universe continues," she wrote in the caption of her post.

Aside from thanking the Miss Universe team, Shamcey gave Rabiya words of encouragement.

"To Rabiya, you continually surprise us with your tenacity and drive to be better everyday," she wrote.

"All your hardwork and sacrifices have led you to the Miss Universe Competition and I am confident that you will continue to make us proud," she added. "Just remember that you are already a winner no matter what."

At the latter part of the post, she also thanked Filipino fans for their support.

"The journey to the Universe wasn't easy, but it's definitely worth it! See you in Miami!" she wrote.

The director of the Miss Universe Philippines organization flew to Miami to show her support for Rabiya.

Rabiya will be representing the Philippines at the Miss Universe pageant which will be held at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, on May 16 (May 17 in Philippine time).
