Binibining Pilipinas International 2021 Hannah Arnold has proved that she is a deserving queen from the very beginning as she captivated everyone with both her beauty and intelligence.

On the coronation night, Sunday, the beauty queen who hails from Masbate strutted in her gorgeous pink evening gown, printed orange swimsuit, and wowed everyone with her answer in the Q&A portion.

In the pageant, she was asked: "Given the reach and power of social media, do you believe that genuine freedom of speech exists in the Philippines nowadays? Why or why not?"

Her winning answer was: “Freedom of speech is a basic human right that we all must remember and it is important for democracy and with the upcoming elections, we definitely need free speech.”

“On Twitter, we are limited to a few characters and what I've seen from these tweets have been powerful and helped me think of who I would like to vote for in the upcoming elections."

Ahead of the coronation night, pageant website Missosology released its final hot picks for the four crowns, and the rest of the Top 20 where she placed first.

She first showed her wit as she spoke her mind in front of mentor Boy Abunda and the other 33 candidates days before the pageant’s big night.

Last month, she wowed during the swimsuit presentation where she sported a printed yellow bikini created by Domz Ramos and shoes from the Jojo Bragais Collection.

The 24-year-old beauty queen then showcased her national costume virtually and was declared as one of the Top 10 in the category weeks after.

In an exclusive interview with GMA News Online, Hannah revealed she professionally works as a sleep scientist.

Hannah will be vying for the Miss International crown this year, hoping to be the seventh Filipina to win the title after Aurora Pijuan (1970), Melanie Marquez (1979), Lara Quigaman (2005), Bea Santiago (2013), Kylie Verzosa (2016).

The 57th coronation night was held at the Araneta Coliseum. Three other queens were crowned: Binibining Pilipinas Grand International Samantha Panlilio, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental Cinderella Obeñita, and Binibining Pilipinas Globe Maureen Montagne.
