How will delegates make it to Miss Universe Philippines Final 30? Pageant organization explains

Miss Universe Philippines explained how delegates will get in The Final 30 of the pageant.

On Instagram, Miss Universe Philippines said the Final 30 is composed of 27 delegates selected by the Miss Universe Philippines panelists while three other delegates will be selected from those who receive the highest votes.

According to MUPH, "the basis for selection is all of their performances in the previous challenges and the upcoming Interview Challenge."

"It is based solely on performance and not on the Fan Votes. High fan votes in the previous challenges doesn't guarantee placement," they added.

MUPH said voting is voluntary and fan votes are not a requirement to advance to the next round.

"So it is possible for a delegate to make it into the Top 30 completely on her own merit," they said. "However, if fans want to help secure a slot for their favorite in The Final 30 they can cast votes for them."

"Delegates who garner the top 3 highest fan votes total from August 22 to August 31, 11:59 PM will automatically advance into The Final 30," they added.

On Saturday, Miss Universe Philippines announced its Top 7 for the Interview Challenge including Victoria Vincent of Cavite, Maria Ingrid Santamaria of Parañaque, Rousanne Marie Bernos of San Juan City, Isabelle delos Santos of Makati, Megan Julia Roa Digal of Bukidnon, Beatrice Gomez of Cebu City, and Simone Bornilla of Marinduque.

Meanwhile, Cagayan Province's delegate Gianne Asuncion ended her Miss Universe Philippines 2021 journey after a positive COVID-19 test.
