Pia Wurtzbach to attend Miss South Africa 2021 as a member of the official selection panel

Pia Wurtzbach will be attending Miss South Africa as a member of the official selection panel of the pageant happening on October 16.

The Miss Universe 2015 queen announced the news on Instagram on Tuesday posting a photo of herself in white tank top and jeans.

"I am on the official selection panel of the Miss South Africa 2021 Finale which will be broadcasted Live on Mnet & Mzansi Magic," she wrote in the caption of the post.

Pia announced the news a week after Catriona Gray was announced as one of the show's pre-show backstage hosts of the pageant.

Joining Catriona as backstage host will be Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi, where they will give the audiences some exclusive behind the scenes and interview content.

The Miss South Africa 2021 pageant is set to happen on October 16 at the Grand Arena in Cape Town. It will also be live streamed on its website. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
