Philippine bet Cinderella Obeñita named Miss Intercontinental 2021

The Philippines' bet Cinderella Obeñita won the Miss Intercontinental 2021 pageant in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt on Saturday (PHL time).

"Second Miss Intercontinental crown for the Philippines," Binibining Pilipinas announced on Facebook. "Congratulations to our Miss Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Faye Obeñita! The whole country is proud of you!"

Two days ago, Cindy called on Filipinos to support her journey to the crown.

This is only the second time a Filipino has won the pageant.

In 2019, Karen Gallman won the country's first Miss Intercontinental crown, after winning the local title in Binibining Pilipinas in 2018.
