Philippine bet Samantha Panlilio in Miss Grand International's Top 5 Before Arrival round

Philippine bet Samantha Panlilio just won a place in the Top 5 Before Arrival category of Miss Grand International.

In a Facebook post late Tuesday, the international pageant organization announced the winners with the most votes for the Top 5 Before Arrival round.

Joining Samantha are Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, and Guatemala.

"Congratulations to all the beauties!" Miss Grand International wrote.

On Tuesday, Samantha stunned netizens with her shimmering green outfit as she arrived in Thailand to compete in the international beauty pageant.

Samantha was crowned as the Binibining Pilipinas Grand International last July, while Masbate City’s Hannah Arnold won Miss International Philippines 2021.

The Miss Grand International 2021 pageant will be held on December 4 in Bangkok, Thailand. Should Samantha win, she will be the first ever Filipina to take home the crown. — Kaela Malig/LA, GMA News
