Catriona Gray, SB19 encourage Filipinos to participate in 2022 National Arts Month

Catriona Gray and SB19 are encouraging Filipinos all over the world to take part in this year's celebration of National Arts Month this February.

Before kicking off on February 4, Catriona and SB19 have already released videos that would entice the viewers to see what they can expect from the month-long festivities.

Shot at the historic Metropolitan Theater, the Miss Universe 2018 and Arts Ambassador

transformed in various personas including the Opera Enchantress and the Prima Ballerina through "The Grand Reveal."

According to Catriona, presenting an aspect of Philippine culture and arts in a modern way with an amazing group of creatives was an exciting thing for her.

SB19, meanwhile, gave a powerful performance of their song "MAPA

" inside the National Museum.

Named NCCA's newest Youth and Sentro Rizal Ambassador, the P-Pop group said they are grateful for the opportunity to be an inspiration for others in the country and worldwide.

"Isa po itong napakalaking karangalan para sa amin," they said. "Inaanyayahan po namin kayong suportahan ang National Arts Month celebration ngayong Pebrero."

["This is a huge honor for us. We invite everyone to support the National Arts Month celebration this February."]

The National Arts Month will open on Friday. Centered on the theme, "Sining ng Pag-Asa," projects aim to remind Filipinos that arts plays a big part in our everyday lives even amid the pandemic.

Each national committee prepared their flagship projects, which are all available for free online.
