Susan Roces laid to rest at the Manila North Cemetery

Queen of Philippine Movies Susan Roces was laid to rest Thursday morning, six days after she passed away due to cardiac arrest.

Roces' remains were placed beside her late husband Fernando Poe Jr. at around 11:30 a.m. at the Manila North Cemetery.

Prior to Roces' internment, a funeral Mass was held for the veteran actress at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig City.

A last viewing of her remains was also held for relatives and close friends, according to a Balitanghali report by Super Radyo dzBB's Jhomer Apresto.

Some personalities seen attending the Mass and viewing were Senator Sherwin Gatchalian and Boots Anson-Roa.

Fans and supporters were asked to wait for Roces' remains at the Manila North Cemetery, and will be accommodated if the venue capacity permits.
