Celeste Cortesi, Beatrice Gomez meet U.S. Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff

Miss Universe Philippines queens Celeste Cortesi and Beatrice Luigi Gomez met U.S. Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff at the reception of the U.S. Presidential delegation for the inauguration of President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Emhoff, the husband of U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, was appointed by U.S. President Joe Biden to head the American delegation at the inauguration. 

“We are honored to be back at the US Embassy for the Reception of the US Presidential delegation lead by Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff,” Bea wrote on Instagram Wednesday, where she shared photos of their meeting. 

According to Bea, it wasn't all serious and stiff, as the Second Gentleman gave off an “impressive ‘blue steel’” — one of the iconic facial expressions in the film "Zoolander."
