Miss Universe Philippines opens applications for its 2023 pageant

The Miss Universe Philippines organization officially opens its application process for the Miss Universe Philippines 2023.
On the organization's Instagram page Monday, Miss Universe Philippines issued the call out and gave instructions.
Following recent changes in the candidates' qualifications, women — regardless of their civil status and height — may now apply to join the pageant if they're Filipino citizens aged 18 to 27.
"The most prestigious crown in the country can be yours for the taking," the organization wrote.
Last September, the Miss Universe organization announced changes to its rules, allowing moms and wives to be eligible to join the pageant beginning in 2023.

The application will start on Monday and close on January 29, 2023, at 11:59 p.m.
Miss Universe Philippines Celeste Cortesi is set to compete in the pageant's 71st edition in January 2023.
