Barbie Forteza, David Licauco's 'That Kind of Love' gets selected for Jinseo Arigato International Film Festival

Barbie Forteza and David Licauco's upcoming film, "That Kind of Love," has been selected as a Spotlight Entry at the Jinseo Arigato International Film Festival in Nagoya, Japan!

The festival will be held on May 25 to 26 and the film will be released in Philippine cinemas afterwards.

Barbie and David flew to South Korea

last year to shoot some scenes for the film, which is directed by Catherine Camarillo.

"That Kind of Love" is Barbie and David's first film together. The love team, also known as BarDa, rose in popularity when they played Binibining Klay and Ginoong Fidel in historical portal fantasy series "Maria Clara at Ibarra."

BarDa also starred in special limited series "Maging Sino Ka Man," a remake of the iconic 1990s film starring Sharon Cuneta and Robin Padilla.

Aside from "That Kind of Love," another Filipino film also made it to the Jinseo Arigato International Film Festival: "Chances Are, You and I," also by the same director. It stars Kelvin Miranda and Kira Balinger.

Barbie and David are set to star in upcoming historical action series "Pulang Araw" with Alden Richards and Sanya Lopez.
