Miss Universe Gabriela Isler to visit PHL for Yolanda relief, Bb. Pilipinas pageant

Reigning Miss Universe Maria Gabriela Isler will arrive in the Philippines this week to help out with ongoing relief operations in areas affected by Typhoon Yolanda and to grace the Bb. Pilipinas pageant, the pageant website said in a statement Monday. 

Isler, who will be joined by Miss Universe Organization president Paula Shugart, is expected to visit Palawan on Friday. She will then attend the Bb. Pilipinas grand coronation on Sunday, March 30 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.

A 26-year-old television presenter from Venezuela, Isler won the Miss Universe pageant last November in Moscow. Philippine bet Ariella Arida was third runner-up. — BM, GMA News
