Role readied for Miss Earth in Sinulog 2015  

She may have conquered the international stage last weekend, but newly crowned Miss Earth Jamie Herrell will still be part of the Sinulog Festival in Cebu in 2015.

 

The Sinulog Foundation is preparing a role for Herrell for the 2015 edition of the festivities, GMA Cebu's Nikko Sereno reported.

 

It is the foundation's way of showcasing Cebu's pride, the foundation added.

 

"Being a festival queen and now an international beauty queen... that is something we can be proud of as organizer of Sinulog and as a Cebuano," said Sinulog Foundation executive director Ricky Ballesteros.

 

Herrell was the lead dancer of Tribu Himag-ulaw and ended up Sinulog Festival Queen last year. She was 18 at the time.

 

Last April, she again bagged the Festival Queen title at the Aliwan Festival when she was the lead dancer for the Cebu Sinulog Festival.
