Just like any other Pacman fight, the country is expected to be at a standstill on that particular Sunday—crime rates may drop and the usual heavy city traffic might vanish as entire families or even barangays are glued to the screen to cheer for the greatest Filipino boxer of all time.

Of course, Pacman's hometown General City is giving its all-out support to the boxing champ. Residents have already been already given free tickets to Lagao Gym, where at least 8,000 people are going to cheer on Pacquiao as he steps into the ring to hand Mayweather his first loss.



Malasiqui, Lingayen and Urdaneta City, Pangasinan

Residents in the towns of Malasiqui and Lingayen can enjoy the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight on big screen for free. The local government of Malasiqui is setting up a pay-per-view screening at the civic center, while a live telecast has been arranged at the Narciso Ramos Santos and Civic Center in Lingayen. Urdaneta City will also have a free-viewing event for 5,000 residents at the Urdaneta City Convention and Sports Center.

Davao City Jail
