Pia Wurtzbach signs with big talent management company in New York

She may have passed the Miss Universe crown on to her successor on Monday, but Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach will continue to work making more of her dreams come true.

During her introduction at the 65th Miss Universe grand coronation event, the Filipina beauty queen looked back on her reign before announcing that she has signed with IMG, a talent management company headquartered in New York.

The company is known for representing some of the world's biggest sports stars and models, including Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge, Gisele Bündchen, and Ashley Graham.

“[My Miss Universe experience] really exceeded my expectations. It has been a remarkable year and I have really grown as a woman. I've learned so many things,” Wurtzbach said.

“Being Miss Universe opened a lot of doors for me. Actually, I just signed with IMG so I’m very excited about that, and I do hope everyone keeps supporting me even after I pass on the crown.”

In a previous interview, the beauty queen said that there are “a lot of things lined up” for her.
