Bb. Pilipinas Universe Rachel Peters: ‘Give Mocha Uson a chance’

Newly crowned Bb. Pilipinas Universe Rachel Peters said that people should give new Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson a chance.

"I believe that everyone should be given a chance. You can't judge a book by its cover; that's something that I was always taught by my parents. We should all give her a chance. We should stand behind President Duterte," the British-Filipino beauty said at an event in her home province of Camarines Sur on Sunday.

Uson, a pro-Duterte blogger who was named to the board of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board earlier this year, was appointed Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary last week.

Another newly crowned queen, Bb. Pilipinas International Mariel de Leon, expressed her dismay over the appointment, and became the subject of online vitriol as a result. — BM, GMA News
