The competition hasn't officially started but already Miss International Philippines 2018 Ahtisa Manalo is impressing pageant enthusiasts. 

Pageant news source Missosology on Wednesday released their list of pre-arrival hot picks and Ahtisa is in a comfortable spot in 2nd place, behind just one candidate. Thailand's Keeratiga Saiiaeim is the current favorite — but that all could change once the competition starts.

Remember, Ahtisa said that she's training to win. "I'm not going to go to Japan just to be the second best. I'm going to make the Philippines proud," she told the press during her send-off.
