Separated by war, twins Miss Kosovo, Miss Albania find time together in Miss Intercontinental pageant in PHL

The 47th Miss Intercontinental pageant is a place where some of the most beautiful and talented women from all corners of the world meet and compete for the crown.

No one would assume that the pageant has also become the place where long lost twins would find each other and share a special moment together.

According Lhar Santiago's report on "24 Oras", Miss Albania Arvanita Peci and Miss Kosovo Arjanita Peci are identical twins who got separated when they were just infants due to the war that terrorized the country of Kosovo.

Now, they find themselves representing two different countries side by side and will soon compete for the title of Miss Intercontinental 2019 this coming January 26 at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City. —Kaela Malig/NB/KG, GMA News
