Catriona Gray feels her 'crying moment' would come during her homecoming parade

Catriona Gray said that she feels that her crying moment would come during her homecoming parade on Thursday.

“When I was getting ready for the coronation night, ako rin gumawa ng make-up ko and I made sure na extra water proof siya kasi I really really felt that as soon or if I were to be announced I would cry as in like cry-cry, and it never happened,” Catriona narrated at her homecoming press conference on Wednesday.

The Miss Universe queen said she thinks she will weep at her homecoming parade where she is surrounded by supporters and loved ones.

“So I feel like my crying moment is going to be during my homecoming parades, because you know, even when I look back in the last couple of years, my most emotional moments as a title holder as a beauty queen have been when I'm surrounded by the people,” Catriona said.

She continued, “It’s always because I'm seeing their support and I'm seeing their passion and just how passionate they are with us beauty queens.”

Cat said seeing how she brings joy to people makes her tear up.

“It really makes me cry because I feel like a simple girl, but here I am bringing joy to people's lives in such a way,” she said.

“So I feel like I'm gonna definitely maybe take up too high na parang Ayala would be crying,” she added.

Catriona Gray will be having her metro-wide parade on February 21 from Sofitel Grounds to Ayala Avenue.

On February 23, she will have a more intimate parade at the Araneta Center. — LA, GMA News
