Samantha Lo officially signs off as Miss Grand Philippines 2019

After a grueling journey to get to Caracas, Venezuela for the Miss Grand International 2019 pageant, and then exiting early, Samantha Lo is officially signing off as Miss Grand Philippines on Tuesday in an Instagram post.

"She took off her crown / And thanked it for everything / Left...so she could live," Lo said in an IG post.

"Miss Grand Philippines 2019 officially signing off. Maraming Salamat Pilipinas. Now I'm off to my new path," she added.

In the comments section, Lo thanked netizens for all the love and support.

Several netizens expressed support for the beauty queen. Nicole Cordoves, who placed as runner up in the Miss Grand International 2016, sent her a heart emoticon.

In October and on her way to Caracas to represent the Philippines in a beauty pagaent, Samantha found herself in a mess after she was held in Paris, France and then sent back home for allegedly carrying a fake passport.
