Heart Evangelista's thoughts are with the Sorsoganons affected by Typhoon Tisoy.

The Kapuso actress took to Instagram to express her concern over the typhoon-hit Sorsogon province.

My heart is with you Sorsogon. I have been trying to keep updated about everyone but their signal is down. My husband is there trying to make sure everything is okay. Love to all of you, my Sorsoganons, and also to everyone who was affected by this typhoon. All my prayers are with you. She also shared the hotline numbers for Sorsogon where people can get updates on the situation.

Heart's husband, former senator Chiz Escudero, is the governor of Sorsogon.

Tisoy has weakened to a severe tropical storm and is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.

However, it has left a trail of destruction in the Philippines, causing thousands of residents to flee their homes.
