Even cats on the sidewalk are practicing 'social distancing'

A bunch of cats were spotted practicing "social distancing" in Marikina City.

Netizen April Salinga shared a photo she took of four cats who happened to be resting a few feet apart away from each other on a sidewalk in Barangay Nangka.

She shared that the cats in the photo are named Orange, Batik, Putol and Gray, and her mom has been taking care of them.

Earlier, netizens were amused by these dogs who were also practicing "social distancing" as they line up for "relief goods."

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), physical distancing is an effective protective measure against the coronavirus.

Luzon remains under enhanced community quarantine in an effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
