GMA triumphs at 14th UPLB Gandingan Awards

GMA Network again took home trophies as it bagged 24 wins in this year’s Gandingan Awards!

A number of Kapuso hosts, shows, and publications were honored on Saturday at the Gandingan 2020: The 14th UPLB Isko’t Iska’s Multimedia Awards of University of the Philippines–Los Baños.

The winners are based on entries covering October 2018 to September 2019.

Mike Enriquez was honored as the Best AM Radio Program host for his work with “Saksi Sa Dobol B” while Super Radyo DZBB was named Most Development Oriented AM station.

Meanwhile, “SAKSI” hosts Pia Arcangel and Arnold Clavio were awarded with the Best News Anchors title and Jam Sisante-Cayco was given the Gandingan Award for Best Field Reporter.

The Atom Araullo Specials took home another Gandingan Award for the Most Development Oriented Documentary for “Sa Magkabilang Dulo.”

The State of the Nation with Jessica Soho was named the Most Development Oriented Educational Program for its voter education special and the Investigative Documentaries brought home the Most Gender Transformative Program award for its Pride episode.

GMA News Online as well took home four awards for its works “Pasyentiis,” “A Very Long Summer,” “Ang Islang Walang Lupa” and “Kinaya ni Mama.”
