Lady Gaga drops surreal music video for '911'

Lady Gaga gave fans a visual treat with the short film for her song "911."

The iconic pop star premiered the music video on Saturday, and it has already garnered over 3.3 million views.

On Instagram, she shared that the film is "very personal" to her as it shows her "experience with mental health and the way reality and dreams can interconnect to form heroes within us and all around us."

"It’s been years since I felt so alive in my creativity to make together what we did with '911'. Thank you @Bloodpop for taking a leap of faith with me to produce a record that hides in nothing but the truth," she wrote.

She also thanked her "little monsters."

"I’m awake now, I can see you, I can feel you, thank you for believing in me when I was very afraid. Something that was once my real life everyday is now a film, a true story that is now the past and not the present. It’s the poetry of pain," she said.

"911" is the eight track of Lady Gaga's latest album "Chromatica," which was released last May to much fanfare. It featured song collaborations with fellow artists Ariana Grande and Blackpink, among others.

Together with Ariana, Lady Gaga bagged three awards at this year's VMAs for their song "Rain On Me" including "Song of the Year," "Best Collaboration," and "Best Cinematography" by Michael Merriman.

She also took home two more trophies including "Artist of the Year," and "Tricon" titles. —JCB, GMA News
