Rabiya Mateo on negative comments: ‘I can build myself from criticism’

Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo has said that hearing negative comments about herself just inspires her to do better.

During an episode of “Queentuhan” with Pia Wurtzbach, Bianca Guidotti, and Carla Lizardo on Wednesday, Rabiya said: “Sabi nga nila with the doubt of a lot of people, it polished me. Natutuwa ako na at least akala nila bad things about me nasisira ako, but no.”

She added: “I can build myself from criticism. I can do better. I know myself. I know my body and I am so excited to start my training.”

Rabiya said she’ll start training soon for the Miss Universe pageant and she’s working hard to have “the best body.”

“I’m not in my best fighting form and I really need to work hard to be a better candidate,” the beauty queen said.
