Samantha Bernardo makes it to Top 10 of Miss Grand International!

Samantha Bernardo has made it to the Top 10 of Miss Grand International 2020!

The Philippine bet bested 10 other candidates and was named among the finalists with the chance to take home the crown during the pageant’s final night held in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday. 

The other candidates who got into the Top 10 are:

Czech Republic - Denisa Spergerova
Puerto Rico - Fabiola Valentin
Malaysia - Jasebel Robert
USA - Abena Appiah
Guatemala - Ivana Batchelor
Thailand - Patcharaporn Chantarapadit

Before earning her spot in the top 10, Samantha was also named among the top 10 best in national costume and top 5 through popular vote.

During the preliminary competition, Samantha dazzled the audience in her emerald green evening gown called “Lipad,” which represented Palawan’s yellow-throated bird.

She also took hold of netizens’ attention when she wore the Philippine eagle-inspired national costume “Agila.”

Should Samantha win in the pageant, she will be the first Filipina to take home the Miss Grand International crown. – RC, GMA News
