"I know the power that a young girl carries in her heart when she has a vision and a mission – and I hope that every girl who sees this cover will know that she can change the world," she added.

Malala is an activist who was shot by the Taliban after campaigning for girls' education.

At 17, she was named as the youngest Nobel Peace Prize winner. Now a recent Oxford University graduate and budding television producer, the 23-year old woman opened up about her faith, activism and family for British Vogue's issue for next month. —Kaela Malig/JCB, GMA News
