On Friday, Tracy Maureen Perez shared on Instagram that her ensemble was called “Vessel of Faith,” which highlighted the arrival of Ferdinand Magellan in Cebu and our ancestors’ introduction to the Christian faith.

The massive couture-esque costume topped with a ship-inspired headpiece by Louie Gallego also paid tribute to the Santo Niño de Cebú.

“This piece really inspired me of how strong and devoted the Cebuanos are when it come to their faith,” said the caption of the Cebu candidate.

Tracy flaunted the “art piece” at the Miss World Philippines 2021 National Costume competition held Thursday at Okada Manila.
