Samantha Panlilio performs fire dance in swimsuit: ‘I am an artwork, an expression of all my supporters’

Samantha Panlilio is a sight to behold as she blew fire into the night while performing a dance in a two-piece swimsuit.

Just hours before the competition, the Miss Grand International 2021 candidate shared a video of herself dominating the island life with her beauty and charm.

Aside from posing in a golden costume complete with an elaborate golden headpiece and swimming elegantly under the sea, Samantha also showcased herself in both rain and fire.

In one scene, she can be seen drenched under the rain while the next showed her playing with fire as she spun poi lit with flames.

"During these past weeks, I have learned many things. Among them is grit and gratitude. Representing the Philippines on the MGI stage has immensely humbled me because once I step on that stage I am not representing myself, I am representing the Philippines; I am an artwork, an expression of all my supporters, mentors and creatives," she wrote.

Thanking everyone for making her journey come to life, Samantha said the memories she gained while competing at the pageant had "forever changed her as a woman."

"I have come to discover the power within me and what it means to be a Filipina," she said. "I am Samantha Panlilio. I am capable. I am Grand."

Samantha, who was crowned Binibining Pilipinas Grand International in July, had flown to Thailand to compete for the Miss Grand International title.

During the preliminary round, Samantha wowed the audience with her "Paruparo" national costume inspired by the festival held annually in Dasmariñas. She was later named among the top 10 highest votes for best national costume.

The grand coronation night will be held tonight, Dec. 4. Viewers can catch it on Miss Grand International's official YouTube channel.
